The children of the congregation will present their program, “Simply Christmas,” on Sunday morning, December 24. That evening at six o’clock, the congregation will share the Lord’s Supper and some Christmas carols and special music, with scripture meditations from Pastors Bob and Shannon Buehler.

In the midst of darkness, Christ was born the Light of the World. Coming among us homeless, he now promises to prepare a place for us. At his coming, Heaven’s armies sang of peace. And we join in the song:

How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is given;
So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His heaven.
No ear can hear his coming, but in this world of sin,
Where meek souls will receive him still,
The dear Christ enters in.
