Give it Up!
David wanted it! 2 Samuel 11:1-3
David took it! 2 Samuel 11:4
David got caught! 2 Samuel 11:5
David tried to get out of it! 2 Samuel 11:6-12
David covered it up! 2 Samuel 11:13-26
David got what he wanted… 2 Samuel 11:17
…but God wasn’t happy!
David was confronted with his sin 2 Samuel 2:12
David confessed 2 Samuel 12:13
David was forgiven…. 2 Samuel 12:14-19
…. But he paid a price.
David wrote a Song Psalm 51
He asks for mercy Psalm 51:1-2
He confesses his sin Psalm 51:2-4
Admits his condition Psalm 51:5
David recognizes God’s desire for him Psalm 51
He asks for cleansing and forgiveness Psalm 51:7-9
