Robert H. Clark

by Pastor Bob

Dear friends,

Heaven just got a little bit richer. I received word today that my uncle and namesake, Dr. Robert H. Clark, died late this morning in Lake Wales, Florida. He was 92.

A man of faith, good cheer, vigor and wit, he kept up an active schedule well past his nine-decade mark. He was a missionary, a pastor, a teacher, a scholar, a peacemaker and activist, Among those who have helped to guide me in my own path, he is right up at the top. He was one of the two ministers who officiated at our wedding.

I’ll have much more to say about him a little later. In your prayers, please remember all of his family, especially my aunt Fran, his tireless partner over sixty-five years.

Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Holy Greetings to you, your beloved blessed family, your well wishers, your friends, your benign ministries, your kith and kin, and all in the most precious name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Dear Beloved, It is to introduce my self as Pastor, in this region, doing the work, on behalf of our organization. When I came to these areas there were none people who accepted the faith of our Lord. These people were innocent and ignorant of the Gospel of the Kingdom. When I went out for the first time, the people did not get the tracts that I distributed, rather they scolded me .I used to go my rented house at first and knelt down and prayed for the people who scolded me and the disease –possessed In those times they turned against God and cursed many evangelists and the people of God. Lastly I found a Christian woman who secretly believed in God. She informed that she is from many years praying for a man to preach the Gospel. At last Our Lord shown to her. She also told me her husband also knew God but he did not take baptism. I we talked to him and accepted the Lord, finally one baptism Lord gave me. In this way our Lord made me encouraged like Moses in the Wilderness. Slowly from 11 years I began my life with God here. Now 40 believers our Lord gave me. The Spirit of God helped me and that first woman to make a congregation. Like that I have been in ministry for the Grace of our Lord. Praise God for His leading into a mighty strength.

By the Mercy of our Lord, I saw few orphan children in streets and on the platforms (Railway and Bus stations.).Slowly the spirit of God inspired me to care of the orphans, whom I saw. Finally I gathered them and started to feed, take them to bath and educate them divine songs. They learnt them and now we have 15 orphans and 10 widows in our Hostel. Thanks to God for His people given to me.

By the power and strength of the Holy Spirit, I am taking caring of the God’s children. The word of God says Psalms 82:3-4 β€œDefend the poor and fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked”. That’s why we request you to pray for them they are in need of your prayers and we need your prayers and the fellowship, kindly encourage our affords for the extension of the Lord’s kingdom.

We are praying for you and your ministry. Please do not forget us in your prayers. A one hand can do some acts for the Lord and the second hand can perform the complete work. So also you are like a second hand of ours, therefore if you be with us so we can do a lot for God.
May God bless you as you do work for Him.

    Please reply soon.
    Thanking you.
    Yours for the Master,
    Mr. R. Johnson
