Upcoming events (2008):

• First and third Friday of each month, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm: The Closet of Hope (a clothing ministry) will be open in the Alpha Room. This is a free clothing ministry designed to make new or “good as new” clothing available for those who may be in need. Donations to this ministry may be made during the open hours or by calling for an appointment.

Normal weekly activities are as follows:

• Sundays, 9 AM: Sunday School for all ages
• Sundays, 10:00 AM: Worship celebration
• Sundays, at 10:30 — a Children’s Church program for ages 5-11 will take place during the preaching service.
• Sundays, 11:30 am — Choir Practice.
• Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 PM: Prayer meeting and Bible study. This group is learning from Exodus, the story of the liberation of a people from slavery.
• Fridays at 6:30: Game night for youth and the young at heart.

Saturday, July 19, 2008:  VBS

A one-day Vacation Bible School will be held at the Marbury Church of God on July 19, 2008.  Activities begin at 8:30 that morning and continue through 1:00 PM with a closing program and lunch served for all. This VBS is free of charge and is open to young people of all ages from Nursery through Youth.
